The Heat shrink method is suitable for sealing of LV&MV rubber and plastic cable glands and terminals, and can also be applied to non-drip and viscous impregnated insulated cables. It uses cross-linked polyethylene and silicone rubber heat shrink tube that can be even after the thermal contraction.
The tube is set to a predetermined adhesive seal place and a hot glue is coated to the adhesive part. When heated to a certain temperature, the tube will be shrinkage and the hot glue melts. After naturally cooled, an excellent seal layer is done.
