Armenia - Georgia Transmission Power Project Attracted Foreign Capital 1.3 Billion in 2015

Armenian Energy and Natural Resources Minister Yervand Zakharyan recently revealed in the annual report, in 2015, 400kV high voltage transmission project connecting Armenia and Georgia  attracted a total investment of 178 million euros (about 1.29 billion yuan).

Yervand Zakharyan said that DOE restart Armenia - Georgia Transmission project financing in September 2015.
 
In addition, the DOE would also start the Armenian nuclear power plant upgrading work to extend the useful life of nuclear power plants, and the plan was expected to be completed in September 2016.
 
According to the plan, Armenia - Georgia high-voltage transmission project construction period is 24 months.
