Over the Next 3 years, India Will Build 8 Long Distance HVDC Transmission Lines

 It is reported that, at present, in addition to China and Europe, long-distance transmission network construction is not universal. According to India's current capacity of the power grid, the regional power grid in northern, eastern and western regions only transmitted 5900 MW of capacity to the southern region, which was expected to increase to 17 GW during 2019--2020 year. Among them, 5 HVDC transmission line capacity from 11.1 GW of new construction, a total investment of 429 billion 500 million rupees.
